Becoming jane (cert pg) peter bradshaw. Is one particular of the old fashioned actors amazing films happen to successful and classic, she is an established actor and continues to grasp a screen presence even now. Austen as well as anne hathaway :)

The script serves the story and never feels forced or too modern. Television writers kevin hood and sarah williams concoct a 'could be based on fact' romance that provides miss austen with the content for pride and prejudice, but that film's most recent adaptation was so assured and satisfying, becoming jane suffers in comparison. And like austen's tomes, the movie, nearly two hours long, moves unhurriedly. Though i enjoyed the idea that jane austen was at one time in love with a man named tom lefroy, i thought this author stretched facts a little too much for me to believe this was a love that austen was.
