Go Fish Movie Review. Certainly not an original topic, go fish 's novelty lies in its milieu. Shot in black and white on a shoestring budget, go fish concerns the love lives of gen x lesbians around chicago's wicker park.
''big fish'' is simply put a great film, it has everything to succeed as a heartwarming and charming, emotional yet funny, family film. And, (after picking up to 8 matching pairs of characters) we also play the match (memory) game. Big fish, skillfully adapted by john august from the 1998 novel by daniel wallace, brims with storytelling sorcery, and burton makes it glitter.
White’s experimental debut feature is patient and introspective horror, anchored by a charismatic performance by virginia gardner.
The result is a labored quality. Maybe i'm biased because go fish was the first lesbian made movie i ever saw in a movie theater. Nor do they have much in common. Having now watched fish tank a second time, i am more exhilarated than ever by arnold's idealism, and in a movie marketplace where so much is vapidly cynical, this is a mistral of fresh air.
